Hillnote is a local-first writing workspace for notes, documents, databases, and plans, with AI features that run on-device and optional cloud models. It supports markdown files on disk, sync across devices, and direct use by agents through MCP and CLI access.
The page clearly presents a real AI-powered product with a defined use case: a local-first writing and knowledge workspace that combines editing, linking, structured notes, and on-device AI. The snapshot includes concrete product details, platform support, pricing, offline behavior, and agent integrations such as MCP, CLI, Claude Code, Codex, and Ollama, which makes it useful for a public listing.
The snapshot does not show a product demo, screenshots, release notes, or technical docs, so visitors still cannot judge the editing experience or how mature the AI workflows are. It also does not explain setup complexity for the local AI and agent integrations.
